The clay I used for this piece was exceptionally soft. Traditionally I use this oil-based clay for the mold-making process but it lent itself well to drawing marks for muscle fiber quickly. Makes for a fragile piece though.

The development of this piece shows the relationship between muscle fiber as an internal structure and the epidermis as a protective covering.
